Kilvrecht Camp Site
A peaceful place to spend a break
Leave the modern world behind for a while. If you like fresh air, peace and quiet, and the sound of birds singing around your pitch, you might just think Kilvrecht is a little piece of heaven.
There are three trails around Carie right next to the campsite. Our map of trails in the forest will help you explore.
The site is open from 3 April until 25 October 2020. Get in touch if you require more information.
- £10.00 per pitch, per night for visitors with a vehicle.
- £5.00 per pitch, per night for visitors with no vehicle.
Just turn up, choose a pitch and the warden will collect your money from you.
The site is suitable for caravans, tents and motorhomes. There are toilet blocks, a chemical toilet disposal point, clothes/dish washing facilities, and various drinking water points. There is no hot water in the toilet block therefore no formal shower facilities. There are wet room cubicles in both male and female toilets which contain a large sink for personal washing. Hooks are provided for solar shower use.
Because the site is so close to a forest, no fires are allowed.
Food and drink
The Country Store, a small general store, is situated in the nearby village of Kinloch Rannoch, 3 miles to the east. There is a popular cafe on the platform at Rannoch Station and another in Kinloch Rannoch village square called The Riverbank. The towns of Pitlochry and Aberfeldy, both 20 miles away, offer a range of shops and places to eat and drink.
