Concert with Violin and Piano

Music in Rannoch is delighted to welcome Charlotte Rowan (violin) and Charlotte Stevenson (piano) to open our 2018/19 season of concerts.

Described as a "captivating and compelling artist" Charlotte Rowan is a Scottish violinist who combines a thrilling virtuoso ability with a profound and emotive approach to the music. She is in demand both in the UK and in the USA as a soloist, orchestral player and chamber musician.

Charlotte and her mother, pianist Charlotte Stevenson, will take us on a lively and colourful musical journey across Europe, with a wide ranging and popular programme, including Wieniawski's exhilarating Polonaise de Concert, Schubert's joyous Valse-Caprice, Sarasate's Carmen Fantasy and Vitali's beautiful Chaconne in G minor.

Tickets for the concert are £8 at the door, with free admission for children. Refreshments (a glass of wine or a soft drink, and nibbles) will be served during the interval.
